some time ago had uploaded 1 collection of photos through flickr photostream.   tonight set second collection upload. edited connection change "public" "family , friends" upload. asked me whether change previous photo permissions or not. @ first said yes. thought over, after popup box told me ratings , comments deleted since had free flickr account. given that, decided not change them. went flickr photostream window in lr4 (i have not yet published) , when saw previous photos there republished, selected them , deleted them, avoid having them re-uploaded.   unfortunately, didn't have effect. put them in group called "deleted photos remove." don't want them removed flickr. can't seem them out of category can publish new photos without removing them. how rid of these images window won't removed flickr when upload new images? thanks.   grits5 can right click on 1 of them (with them selected) , option in menu??? actual problem: ubuntu 12.04, clean install, not reconnect wireless automatically when coming out of suspend mode. in fact, after coming out of suspend won't connect @ unless restart system. it's desktop , i'd leave on , online time dropbox syncs , forth while i'm working on laptop. or, @ least, nice not have restart every couple of hours because let go idle few minutes. tried fixing earlier , broke wireless entirely, why ended doing clean install (and messing home partition; 1 problem @ time -_-). originally had no wireless internet connection through ubuntu @ all. thought issue coming out of suspend/screen lock inactivity or whatever. seems working, @ least when coming out of screen lock. no idea why. hoping continues. sorry wasting thread space; feel free delete , i'll repost if goes wrong again. *sighs* Forum The Ubuntu Forum Community

i submitted clips timeline 2 minutes long. used remapping tool , specified whole clip played in 10 seconds. works. problem have grayed out clip follows remapped clip , plays blacked out screen until next clip comes play. assuming unused time slot remapped clip. have tried move clips in front or behind grayed out clip, , tried deleting , closing gap. nothing working. how resolve issue? it's possible you've disabled clip.   can post screen capture of timeline in expert view, showing clip "grayed out"? i use modified keyboard (x-keys brand) photoshop shortcuts , such, , i'm trying implement lightroom workflow. based on other forums , photography related sites i've read through i'm aware of lightroom editing sliders don't have shortcuts via regular keystrokes, programmed mouse based movements.  i've had success limited static menu's.    does use plugins or similar they've had more success?    does know why adobe hasn't/can't implment better system this?   am late party i've missed discussion?   i'm running os x 10.8.7 , lr 5.3.     thanks much. we publish mp4 training videos html5 content , have problem need restrict player play/pause. adobe captivate 7 works fantastic on devices, many androids, many browsers, , on ipad. captivate, after adding video multi-slide video 1 slide , publishing html5 content, lets student play , pause video - need. but test on iphone , iphone's internal quicktime player recognizes mp4 video , kicks in, gives student functions want, totally overrides html5 published captivate restricted playback options. is there way can around that? function or box haven't checked before publishing html5 content? we happy, if video wouldn't play on iphone - long can't use fast forward end of video. does here know how bypass internal iphone 5 player? thanks, nat all find far this: preventing default full-screen video on iphone & ipod touch – kiosk pro support   haven't tested myself yet, worth try. i getting started. can't find information differences in keystrokes between windows version of photoshop , mac version (which know nothing except of tutorials mac). curser looks different.   i can toggle between little plus sign , hollowed out plus sign caps lock key, can't either 1 of these outline selection quick select tool. not intuitively obvious how use curser anything. not have little circle.   is there reference somewhere of keystroke controls different functions windows version?   help!   sarintee your cursor options in preferences ctrl-k on win cmd-k on mac.  can select type of cursor there.  More discussions in Photoshop for Beginners adobe

now, may hardware issue rather *buntu one. apologies if case. on motherboard (note not sound card), there several sound outlets. 2 @ front (headphones , mic) , several @ (your usual setup people decent speaker setup - orange, blue, black, pink - use green one). yesterday removed sound jack rear sound outlets install ethernet cable, , replaced it.there unusual noise, , plastic cap surrounds jack opening fell off. isn't surprising, it's second-hand pc bought school. did job okay far. sound (obviously) proceeded not work. thought this, , came conclusion should work @ front. plugged speakers headphone socket instead, still didn't work. now, questions. have several options: 1) try , find out why front outputs aren't working either. guys can suggest helpful. i've run debian, ubuntu, , windows, none of them pick anymore. guess it's borked along rest of sound section. can see if it's still living software or whatever? 2) have spare so

i purchased 12mth subscription , downloaded cc, photoshop, lightroom etc no dramas.  (the day after) due power supply problems, motherboard snuffed , had replaced , not able re-install cc or of other programs.   does 'it' think im not me, pretending me , install on elses computer?   (this theory), if  how can reassure 'it'?   any appreciated.   ps, error message "creative cloud desktop failed install" what error’s getting?   you may want contact adobe support directly via chat, can check subscription on side , reset if necessary. good evening, brand new on here have been using ubuntu (as partition on personal , work computers) quite few years. pick everyone's brains installing ubuntu on old laptop, eliminating windows altogether. laptop in question died on me 3 years ago error "windows not start because following file missing or corrupt: windows system32 hal.dll" wanted buy new laptop anyway excellent encouragement. question this, can install ubuntu on "dead£ laptop without reinstalling missing/corrupt hal.dll file? have had bit of play around , can access of bios , boot menus , can pen drive light (on have saved ubuntu.iso files) doesn't seem want anything. have idea how around this? sorry if stupid question, or if has been asked before cant anywhere @ moment. many in advance. linux doesn't care if .dll file there or not. can't copy iso usb , install it. here instructions creating inst

i'm working large data files (several gigabytes) store interleaved data several channels: first value channel a, first value channel b, second value channel a, second value channel b, etc. also, there may more 2 channels sometimes. data stored unsigned 16-bit integers, byte order this: php code: [ a10 ,  a11 ,  b10 ,  b11 ,  a20 ,  a21 ,  b20 ,  b21 ...]  and on millions of data values. goal separate channels , save them individual files. have couple questions. first. separate out each channel on own, get: php code: [ a10 ,  a11 ,  a20 ,  a21 ...] [ b10 ,  b11 ,  b20 ,  b21 ...]  this easy numpy (using numpy.reshape() function, , slicing result). think involves operation of interpreting binary values. want separate channels , save them individual files. know loop, seems terribly inefficient given how data have go through. way pull apart array this? second. since reading whole file @ once not option, going read in
