two full days (and partly nights) trying solve problem, reading every single topic on forum... thought i'd better ask question community before throwing pc  through window...   basically here history of problem :   i created encore project, containing 58 videos, organized in 14 menus. checked project : no errors. i tried build iso image : went 10 minutes, , of sudden encore crashed. i understood comes transcoding of videos , had manually.   as point should know videos created in premiere pro cc, encoded (through "export/media") adobe media encoder mpeg-dvd format , pal-dv pressets. when imported them first in encore cs6, timelines, video asset (mpeg video, m2v format) , audio asset (wav audio, wav format) have "don't transcode" status.   i right click on each individual asset, modify transcode settings "automatic", , ask "trancode now". and here issue : transcode, , not ! randomly... at end, can expect, have 1/3rd of assets trancoded ,

i have title built in indesign export in pdf printer. discovered on successive runs needed shift y axis tad , widen gutter best production results. here routine doing in acrobat pro ix:     in acrobat document / crop pages / change page size / custom: width 6 in; height 9 in. [ set each operation ] adjust y-axis (height) of text block y offset: - 0.15 (check shift visually) page range = all apply to: odd , pages adjust recto x-axis placement x offset: + 0.13   (check shift visually) page range = all apply to: odd pages only adjust verso x-axis placement x offset: - 0.13   (check shift visually) page range = all apply to: even pages only   i had produce new pdf body file first time since switching cc (acrobat xi), , when found page cropping dialogue, above routine blew book completely . there wasn't single character visible in 300+ pages. take acrobat xi has different ideas cropping pages, couldn't see problem lies. dialogue boxes same. commands same. results different. ?

hi, i purchased adobe photoshop elements 12 on 4 december 2013, , today have tried install it, on windows 8.1. there problems, big problems. the installation program said installation of "shared technologies" has failed. so, then, have rebooted pc , have tried re-install photoshop elements, installation program reported before necessary unistall p.e., followed instructions on screen, @ end unistallation failed, because "specified path empty". so has gone in control panel, perform unistallion there, there no trace of p.e.. i rebooted pc , tried again installation/uninstallation several times, unsuccessfully. then consulted support page on adobe site, have found suggested run "microsoft fix it" tool, tool not support windows 8.1... so, have do? can me, please? hi all, i've tried several times today install 12.10 server (x64) on spare box using both default , expert install, seem run against same problem. when reboot after completing install error on booting "reboot , select proper boot device". know isn't physical issue hdd i've used installation media mount filesystems , can indeed see files on different partitions. seems though grub/efi loader installing wrong disk/partition. i'm installing usb using unetbootin , looks efi partition being written usb (/dev/sdb) instead of hdd (/dev/sda). how can sort out bootloader? i'm not familiar efi, other (older) linux installs have used standard grub2, no efi. thanks. welcome forums. not know servers, 1 of differences uefi grub installed. bios/mbr install mbr, never partition. uefi grub installed efi partition should sda1. have boot uefi/bios , should boot ok. if installing serv

is there way can prevent hyphenation of numbers, specifically, phone numbers? hyphenation turned on better formating, since phone numbers use hyphen, thinks it's ok break part of number next line. have manually go in , try adjust line doesn't break. i'm hoping there's script or can prevent hyphenation of numbers. if not, should option, adobe! apply no break attribute. you'll find in control panel menu or character panel menu. i apologize if double post, or if it's in wrong catagory; i've been searching hours , cannot find solution. have reinstalled 10.04 , upgraded cuda 5.everything installs fine, , have cpyrit installed, detects 3 gtx 280's , runs fine. noticed problem when tried activate displays (i have 5). nvidia settings lists 2 displays , secondary monitor cannot enabled. when try update-xconfig, still doesn't detect devices. tried restoring backup , updating in case original corrupted, no avail. have blacklisted nouveau, rivatv, rivafb, , vga16fbin blacklist.conf, , made sure reboot before proceeding. said, sli function works, nvidia-settings doesn't see additional 280's. appreciated. don't post on forums forgive n00bish post. when ever go view app on of several software centers try @ liecence because want know licences filed under know rights have. label telling me open source or propritary. not actual dam licence. makes impossible know agreeing before install , takes away thought proccess maybe should see if software abuses basic human rights. not matter weather open source or proprietary if can not see licence abusive tors me weather open source or proprietary. , terms should shoved out window because open source means can see source code , open source can propratary software in since not allowed modify or change it. along users should have right know agreeing before screwed over. know how can view actual licence , put actual licence in licence field rather retarded labels have nothing licence. clairify 6th time: i not asking how licensing information software. asking how change fields of licences in ubuntu software center show actual licences , not generic labels.

i have had lots of issues 1 of installs of ubuntu 12.10 , have resolved most. on 1 particular workstation cannot run software center menu never loads. see try start in menu bar exits. update manager similar problem never starts puts red alert in indicator area saying there problem. here have tried , done: 1. can run software center terminal "sudo software-center" , runs no problem. 2. can run "sudo apt-get update" , "sudo apt-get upgrade" terminal no problem. 3. can run synaptic package manager , works no problem. 4. have uninstalled , reinstalled software center , update manager synaptic still not work. strange behavior altogether , work around use synaptic or run commands terminal now. uninstalled update manager since kept throwing error message in indicator constantly. fresh install dvd formatting on partitions try , eliminate variables. have laptop running same version same dvd works properly. ideas?

hi, updated ps cc 14.2 swatches palette, when docked not behave correctly: swatches placed have resized palette, placing them in wrong order. undocking palette reposition swatches correctly. i've made sure docked palette not scaled, in fact on brand new, reset "essential" preset interface displays issue default palette. scaling docked palettes not fix problem.   here's example default interface on fresh installation first 1 unlocked palette, works expected second 1 docked palette (wich on default essentials ui!)   my guess minimum docked palette width has increased pixels update. may minor issue, skrewed custom palettes can drag panel old size , save in custom workspace?  time ever use default workspaces if want see photoshop on main screen, , app on second. hello all,   i ready send out 5 panel, accordion fold document printing , found out online printing service selected doesn't support 5 panel! printer can 4 panel , 6 panel only. the.... ??   can recommend online print service, ideally in sunnyvale area (although, needs have online service, location isn't essential).   of course, need able print in format have designed.   what's wrong 5 panel (four folds)?   thank much! it's have folding machines setup 4 , 6 - stopping machine adjust 5 folds isn't in interest.   as designing - think finishing @ beginning.   sorry can't print dillema - hope explained reasoning behind it. i have installed xubuntu on oldish laptop fresh install of 11.10 (12.04 wouldn't install because of kernel pae conflict) , upgrading 12.04. wifi not working. (and wasn't' smart enough check whether working after 11.10 had wired ethernet connection running.) oddly, pulling down networking icon (the up/down arrows) shows enable wireless checked , enabled. futher down see greyed out "wireless disabled" firewall test shows "inactive". looked other similar posts haven't found fix. full ubuntu has worked seamlessly me guess have become lazy. can advise? pjstock a quick thought. assuming it's laptop: may have wifi hardware switch. check see if have both fn key , wifi key on keyboard. wifi key located under 1 of f/number keys (should antenna giving off signals) @ top of keyboard. press fn key holding down , press f/
