i using adhoc connect android tablet , use adb , local irc server test code, using 2 wifi adapters, 1 connects route , connects tablet (it doesn't support usb adb) however, interested in not sharing wifi connection ubuntu pc, because tablet has horrible wifi antenna , it's slow, , prefer use tablet's internal 3g it's own traffic while leaving wifi pc. when connect pc tablet, each has own traffic (thus if wifi becomes unstable due recent storms, tablet traffic doesn't go down because it's using (surprisingly) more reliable 3g.) there way achieve network manager? so i've been thinking maybe should install ubuntu fresh on system, after it's running 12.04 , has been upgraded since 6, 7, or 8. it's got lot of updates , upgrades on top of , i've read people it's better new install rather upgrade? that's debatable. wanting try however, have customized hardware rules , drivers installed , wondering if a, in simple fashion copy on profile current install new one, , b, replicate settings possible. there way it? reason i'm thinking doing because feel system running slower should, in meantime i'm gonna install spare hdd , try fresh install using one. all user settings in /home of data unless have separate data partitions. may have system settings customized in /etc. , may have installed lots of applications , want automate reinstall. had clean install when converting 9.04 9.10 , 32bit 64bit 9.04 upgraded 6.06 every 6 mo. clean installs. automa
