i moved , decided keep old hard drive precise installed on first partition (now sda1) , /home on sda3 (swap in middle) leave old computer , put hard drive new one. have not swapped hard drive 1 came computer (it had windows installed) , tried boot got message "error: no boot disk has been detected or disk has failed." i've tried number of things solve problem, including reinstalling grub several times (which more complicated sounds, because apparently current computer grub expects have separate partition flagged "bios_grub", took me while figure out). no matter i've tried, turn on computer , same message no boot disk. i've tried several steps. first tried running "grub-install" failed error message saying couldn't find /boot/grub write , asking if had mounted partition. got whether or not mounted partition. tried reinstalling ubuntu live cd , kept telling me go , create partition marked use "reserved bios boot

i new photoshop. iv'e been watching cs6 tutorials , have been experimenting filters. shooting pictures in raw , pictures can apply filters while others dont have option open filters. im shure doing cant figure out. can 1 help?   tom sometimes filters aren't available because of bit depth of image. images filters aren't showing for, go images>mode>check see bit depth (8 or 16). if 16 filters won't available. if case, choose 8 , try filters. hope might help. hello,   i’m designing workflow first lightroom project 1,000 photos, , i’d automate population of metadata fields as possible. photos used online in commercial manner, i’d follow industry best practices or standards digital copyright protection.   i’ve researched online iptc metadata fields, , i’ve learned lot, i’ve been unable locate authoritative source directly states effect:   “these minimum iptc metadata fields need populated in order optimize copyright protection. better protection, populate these other fields also.”   does know information might located?   thanks. you should fill out creator / author field, should contain name of photographer (like yourself, example). should ensure create date correctly filled out, should contain date photo taken (not: scanned etc.). , should fill out copyright field, stating name if you're copyright holder. there's field states if (or if not) image copyrighted , should fill out, too.   hope helps. hi, 1 month ago cleaned laptop , put on new thermal paste. had serious heat problems. seemed fix sometime when started run new game, laptop seems generate looot of heat again, tough should clean inside. temperatures 80 c or higher when playing , takes 10min+ cool down when processes terminated. normal? acer tough, still dont think temp should high.. install proprietary driver if available, 80c tad uncomfortable, laptop cooler pad belkin or thermaltake, work good. i've used markzware's q2id convert quark 7.5 document indesign cs6. style sheets came on conversion none of them have apply selection checked when open style sheet.   thus, style sheets of no use.   any way modify these style sheets they're usable?   thanks. this option not have bearing on styles , situation. "apply selection" used when creating style. if have text highlighted, can have text applied newly created style when exiting style panel. when q2id conversion, styles can modified xp id. , style applied text, may not have style applied. i'm doing large project, mixing codecs.  lot of material avchd.   i want standardize material prores 422 (hq).   i converted bunch of avchd files prores 422 (hq).  resulting quicktimes fine, clean, when opened singly in quicktime.  when import them in premiere pro cs6 , put them on timeline ... , play full screen, looks if needing rendering ... there on odd choppiness or bias-issue on sharp edges.  looks old sd codec.   i'm switching fcp7 premiere pro, maybe i'm missing in process.  though conversions avchd prores done adobe media encoder.   ideally want able work in prores, moving , forth between mac , pc.  half people involved using premiere pro in windows 7, , other half using pp in mac.   any suggestions appreciated,   thank you,     ben check make sure you're playing @ full quality in program , source monitor.... hello,   when first installed cc on computer, our company's proxy refusing connections adobe cloud servers , couldn't sync test file "test.indd".   from moment i'm getting "unable sync "test.indd" due server error" message.   after having determinated server ips adobe uses in amazon cloud , added manually exeptions our proxy server, syncing files worked. great adobe not giving server ips out , not helping @ all.   syncing files works keep receiving "unable sync "test.indd" due server error" message.   i have tried recreate file exact filename , sync again doesn't solve problem.   as paying customer (7 x cc teams licences) contacted adobe support , told me don't support server problems !???!!!!! , redirected me forum page http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/arent-my-files-syncing.html has nothing problem. can't find words describe customer support...   maybe there in community willing job of adobe support ,
