i have been experiencing poor quality audio output mov files. sound fine on timeline, tracks balanced , levels correct on meters. output mov file settings: video quicktime prores 422hq, audio uncompressed 48khz, stereo 32bit, 2 mono tracks. playback through quicktime player on same system , result muffled , boomy, bass emphasis. have tried many different settings cannot reproduce sound timeline correctly. common problem? settings should using?   would grateful help. import exported clip premiere and compare audio in timeline playing within premiere.   quicktime player not designed qc audio. hey having problems adobe products detecting 5.1 surround system. here setup: running windows 8.1 adobe cc. using soundblaster z ( specs found here ) soundcard using dolby digtal live transcode l,c,r,sl,sr lines opitcal signal running jvc rx-5060 5.1 surround home theater reciver. doing because cannot plug in 3 different 3.5mm cables reciver forced use opitcal , use dolby digital live ( info ddlive ) , opictal singal on motherboard not output 5.1.   this setup works in os's sound settings , in video game supports 5.1.   but when in adobe application sees 2 channels, , cannot make see more that, though far os concered outputting 3 3.5mm jacks computer surround sound system.   here screenshot of settings, shown in audition, same true in premiere. guys, have problem maintaining stable ntp sync in following network configuration: pc1 connected pc2 connected pc3 of them running different linux distributions. pc 2 , 3 run ntp server. pc3 hooked gps receiver , hence has accurate time. pc3 powered on continuesly, pc2 opperating 2 6h day, while pc1 opperating same time pc2. here how supposed sync: pc3 syncs gps - works great pc2 syncs pc3 via ntp - works great pc1 syncs pc2 via ntp - here issue pc1 syncs real nice pc2 week or so. after week ntp traffic on network skyrockets 2 ntp polls every second pc2, time sync gets bad - in order of seconds, @ least according ntp message content. if ntpq pc3 pc1 see following: - time sync in order of 10 ms - every 10 seconds daemon on pc1 stops responding if ntpq pc1 pc3 see massive jitter between +2ms , -10ms. here fun part: if reset ntp.drift files frquency drift on pc1 -2.00 works fine again. after week drift file changes value arround 1 (last week)

i should have known better. had acrobat 9.5.2 installed, , happy it. view pdf docs, , scan scanner directly pdf document. after weeks of updater reminding me, let x1 install. dissapointment no longer scan directly pdf fioles scanner. wanted "go back", , trouble started. machine win-xp pro sr3. used windows restrore point go day before x1 upgrade. after doing that, acrobat 9.5x seemed work again, , scan pdf again scanner. thought done. then, after viewing document in acfrobat, realized lot of features wouldn't work, , i'd keep getting complaints plugins missing. next, downloaded full install acrobat 9.5.2 adobe , tried install scratch. tp 96% complete, , fail box saying "the product installed". next went windows control panel , tried remove acrobat, figuring install better if first removed. uninstall failed. upon attempting eremove acrobat (listed adobe reader 9.5.2), alert comes saying "the patch package cannot opened". i'm stuck in limbo, , i&

i done project have been stymied on 1 of last things need do.   there 4 light fixtures in photo.  2 of them need have "glow" around them , 1 needs beaming light effect.  1 of lights, round 1 on right has going regarding "glow" or "aura." (although i'd pleased if make little bigger.)  round spotlight fixture far left should have beam of light.  , oblong light @ rear has little glow around defintely needs bigger.   i have tried copying glow around right round light , playing place around other lights it's not working out.  found "beam" of light on web tried incorporate photo.  seemed if color of "beam" adjusted same color of "glow" around far right light work can't seem done either.   i have tried working effects , styles apparently i'm doing wrong.  have tried find plug-ins i'm lacking knowledge on how find right plug-in because 1 installed not helping me.   does have guideance can provide me?   thank much.

i've been troubleshooting file created in id cs5.5 , moved cc. when export epub toc ends @ end of file rather @ point inserted toc. vendor i'm sending epub won't accept file toc out of place. tried exporting html editor , moving toc there. hi. i've been using recordmydesktop command line couple of years make lecture videos computer , it's been working pretty well. experimented ffmpeg's x11grab. both of utilities have flaked out on me: both, audio , video out of sync. weird thing video ends being few seconds ahead of audio when use recordmydesktop, video behind audio using ffmpeg's x11grab. screencasts lectures within type text whiteboard on computer screen. test sync, i've made sample videos verbally each letter of word i'm typing it. recordmydesktop text appears on screen few seconds before i've started verbally spelling. ffmpeg, letters start show in test video after i've started verbally spelling. i've researched , tried bunch of different switches both recordmydesktop , ffmpeg's x11grab, can't sync improve. meantime, discovered pretty horrid looking hack of bash script made uses ffmpeg records audio , video separately, joins them together. it'

i'm not sure forum post in. i'll start here since first step getting hardware work. i'm trying set dial-in server, people can make dial-up connections network. (reason: tech support work , have clients need dial-up connections. access numbers long-distance , might connect after twenty-third attempt. want done troubleshooting sort of connection problems, , have favorite local phone company work if there's further problems.) have far old acer aspire t180, amd athlon 64 3800+ cpu, , 1.5gb ram, running ubuntu 12.04.1 lts server 64-bit. and, actiontec pm560lki hardware pci modem, manufacturer claims should work linux without needing drivers. dear all,   i have received many adobe updates , have installed except speedgrade gives me error message u44m11210.  have tried install many times no avail.  error message u44m11210 refer to?   i'm working on older 2006-2007 mac pro 1.1 older graphics cards , i'm wondering if might problem.  believe other people mentioned it.  don't use speedgrade much, may using in coming months.  i've read current version 7.1.0 have installed working better new update...if that's case, may not continue try update.   i have not tried uninstall , reinstall because i've read doesn't work, may give try.  if uninstall speedgrade, adobe application manager automatically list again available? , should bother update or keep using 7.1.0 when use in future.   thanks.   small town gal speedgrade better newer cards ... not absolute latest, cards within last 3 years typically lotsd of ram on them, , ... it's best make sure drivers latest older cards that. video card/s around 2005

i using recent version of photoshop cc, 14.2 64-bit under windows 7, optimizing menus/shortcuts/workspaces/tools needs, , wanted make backup of settings/presets on flash drive take on go. when go edit --> presets --> export/import presets, list shows empty , unable this.   so summary: ps 14.2 x64 under win7 changed multiple settings , presets export presets list empty   i checked inside ps folder in program files, settings (well, @ least actions , brushes) showing unique files, somehow aren't picked "export presets" i having same issue in photoshop cc 2014.2.2 on windows 8.1 the list under "your presets" empty can't export anything. need transfer actions, brushes, layer effects, , other custom settings new pc.   the workaround i've found go each , every window , manually save settings each , every item. know i'm going miss somewhere. i have computer on university network. computer running vnc server. within network, can use vnc server of computer. normally, in order access machine outside network, ssh login machine and, it, ssh personal machine (which has internal ip address). have root control on viewing computer , person computer, have no root control on login computer. how go connecting personal computer's vnc server outside network? so yesterday installed ubuntu onto main 2.2 tb hdd beside windows 7 home edition (on different partition). made /, /home, swap plenty of space (24 gb home, 8200 mb swap, , 800 gb root (which shrunk @ point)). created 2 mb bios boot partition grub2's core.img in it. booted computer today, , when hdd loaded, gave me error windows 7 being unable boot. said boot normally, , did fine. error doesn't show more, ubuntu totally ignored. results boot info script (sda1 being hdd) attached below. computer specs follows: motherboard: msi 890fxa-gd70, ram: 8 gb corsair vengeance, hdd: seagate barracuda 2.2 tb, cpu: amd phenom ii x4 975 oc'd 4.06. thanks! -portablesounds attached files results.txt (19.4 kb, 5 views) welcome forums. should have sizes of /home , / other way around. /home personal d
