Thread: Wireless has completely vanished after upgrading to 12.04

hey everyone, i'm pretty new linux, hope me out here... see, i've upgraded 10.04 12.04 on laptop , wireless simply, absolutely vanished. isn't listed on ifconfig, iwconfig says "no wireless extensions." , network-manager-gnome says "device not ready (firmware missing)".

i've tried installing tg3 , b43, nothing works... maybe it's kind of conflict upgrade, working absolutely fine before it. in advance help! here's info boot, ask need!

can physically turn wi-fi on either through button on laptop or through combination of fn key + 1 of f keys? or potentially uninstalling networkmanager may correct issue i've seen solution in previous threads.
