Thread: eth1 interface "loses" its address after a while
i'm using ubuntu on virtualbox, think not important in case.
when use command
interface works expected, in fact can ping other (virtual) machines on same subnet.code:sudo ifconfig eth1 192.168.2.1 netmask 255.255.255.0 broadcast 192.168.2.255 up
after while (even if don't perform action) seems interface "loses" ipv4 configuration, in fact output ofiscode:ifconfig
can see, line of ipv4 configuration absent.
why? how can resolve?
