Thread: Live-usb, "disc boot failure" (unusual)


hello there,

wanted try lubuntu(i dont think distro based problem posted ubuntu prefix) without doing current windows xp not have problem other being microsoft product, live-usb boot option.

have followed steps told downloaded , used unetbootin set lubuntu in usb, done , reboot , set bios options boot usb only.

gives famous disc boot failure error.

have checked forums here , checked live-cd boot page also, oke, , writing message on laptop using old windows xp without problem. when plug in usb using windows, comes "install lubuntu" name , icon dont think problem how did put in usb.

can guys me? try lubuntu.

help, , people spend time non-commercial based project. (i full-time volunteer 2 years know how thing )

disk boot failure means either don't have machine booting right drive (you're that's not problem), or flash drive isn't set up.

can more specific steps took set live usb?
