Encore "Encode failed" randomly

two full days (and partly nights) trying solve problem, reading every single topic on forum... thought i'd better ask question community before throwing pc  through window...

 

basically here history of problem :

 

i created encore project, containing 58 videos, organized in 14 menus.

checked project : no errors.

i tried build iso image : went 10 minutes, , of sudden encore crashed.

i understood comes transcoding of videos , had manually.

 

as point should know videos created in premiere pro cc, encoded (through "export/media") adobe media encoder mpeg-dvd format , pal-dv pressets. when imported them first in encore cs6, timelines, video asset (mpeg video, m2v format) , audio asset (wav audio, wav format) have "don't transcode" status.

 

i right click on each individual asset, modify transcode settings "automatic", , ask "trancode now".

and here issue : transcode, , not ! randomly...

at end, can expect, have 1/3rd of assets trancoded , 2/3rd not !!! frustrating................

 

i tried following :

 

• edit / preference / general / transcode asset using adobe media encoder application -----> doesn't solve problem
• create new projet, import 1 timeline , try transcode  -------> transcode (then can manually locate transcoded file in usual projet right click on asset / locate trancoded file), sometime not....... (i told in title, random...)
• encode adobe media encoder .avi , try process again -----> transcode, not (but still miss transcoded time lines)
• checked titles length issues, special character issues, etc. -------> found no particular issue (at least comparing files, see no explanation of randomness of problem)
• right click / run administrator  ------> doesn't solve problem
• free space in c driver (now have 27gb of free space, guess it's enought encore work, right ?)
• ... , lot of other stuff, won't list here...

 

 

and still have half of assets untranscoded !!!!

 

technical details

 

.m2v file (generated adobe media encoder mpeg-dvd format , pal-dv pressets) : 720*576, 25 frames/sec.

.wav file (generated adobe media encoder mpeg-dvd format , pal-dv pressets):  1536 kbps

the original material .mod files, .avi (it should have no influence because 2 .mod files originated videos, 1 transcode , other not)

 

pc dell precision m4400

intel core duo cpu t9600 @2.8ghz

8gb ram

windows 7 professional

 

you see, saturday night, 9 p.m. i've been in front of pc more 2 days no success. surrender @ point , hope 1 of guys can find solution me. , honnest, hope stupid mistake side, mean won't have spend again hours on topic.

if import mpeg dvd files, encore not need transcode them because in dvd format, why has 'don't transcode' status.
