Thread: Installing Mesa 3D graphics library?


howdy
i'm new ubuntu (2nd day today), have managed through many issues: gcc installed , running, have code::block installed , running. i'm quite happy far experience. except for:
how install mesa 3d graphics library? i've downloaded package , tried make sense of (i write software living) not either make sense of or find legible information on web me out.
isn't there sudo type command can use in terminal install , set compiling code?

libmesa open{gl,gles} libs on place, 1 can install or packages using nifty commands

apt-cache search opengles kde-window-manager-common - k window manager (kwin) common files libkwinactiveglesutils1 - library used accellaration kde window manager active libkwinglesutils1 - library used accellaration kde window manager mesa-utils-extra - miscellaneous mesa utilies (opengles, egl)

 apt-cache search libmesa libglu1-mesa-dev - mesa opengl utility library -- development files
but can install synaptic package manager , libgles{1,2} stuff using search functions.
