Thread: cannot get apt-get command to work, as well as ubuntu software center

i cannot figure out how fix problem sudo apt-get install command work software center, without killing ubuntu , re-installing it. problem seeing how have become attached install ubuntu. don't understand cause problem; 1 minute update manager working fine , message this.
