Thread: edit partiton size of Ubuntu 12.04


i used windows installer , installed ubuntu 12.04 , allowed 30 gig max, 30 gig partition , have c: partition of 128 gig , d: partition of 135 gig. installed on d: partition. (it came in amounts factory). have 135 gig available on d partition apparently ubuntu using 30 of them.. how can increase can use atleast 50-60 gigs out of d: partition? ive tried gparted don't know sure edit , can't risk losing main partition right now. (win7 on c. there simple tool other gparted? or can walk me through using gparted , partitions edit?
