Thread: Broken packages on 12.04 with boost-filename

hi all,

need compile larger software package, , both

code:

    -libbost-filename     -lboost-filename

gave "cannot find" message. suppose boost-filename not installed on system.

in order install tried command

code:

sudo apt-get install libboost-filesystem*

which returned following enchalada:

i appreciate advice how cleanly correct problems minimal work , sure boost-filename gets installed correctly can used again.
