Searching for special characters in RH 9

occasionally broken links because when add hyperlink, must @ wrong level or something. haven't figured out when happens, it's never bothered me because can find , replace find , replace it.

here's example broken link report (tools > reports > broken links):

missing topic 'myhelpproject\editing_trade_show_codes.htm' referenced following...

in past, open find , replace (edit > find , replace in files) , paste in following string in find box:

myhelpproject\

notice included backslash. i'm pretty sure worked; is, find string beginnging myhelpproject\, won't find @ unless leave off backslash. of course, doesn't make sense because backslash escape character. maybe i'm mis-remembering.

so how unescape can find myhelpproject\?

i know can search without backslash, there few instances don't want delete myhelpproject.

i'm using robohelp 9.

please confirm these links other topics in project , how creating them in first place.
