AudioWaveform.cpp-173 Error IN DEPTH

alright, i'm done yelling @ world this.  here step step list of issue , attempts @ resolving it:

i'm on mac. 10.9.1, 16gb ram.

working on premiere pro cc.

- feature doc project on 4tbs of footage.  cameras used dslr, canon c300, sony pmw 200 , externally recorded audio.

- throughout life of project i’ve moved around scratch disk folders , media cache files folder without problems.

- last saturday, plugged in old duet (which had been freezing computer earlier) playback edit external speakers.  froze computer , had restart.  when opened project again, added single band compressor master output of project timeline in order play through internal speakers more volume.  worked fine.  closed project , went lunch.  when got , opened project again, received error:

-since then, every time i’ve opened project or other existing projects (as far can tell), error or general “a serious error has occurred”… , premiere crashes.

- followed advice on these forums , cleared media cache files , media cache folders, didn't fix it. uninstalled/reinstalled premiere.

- yesterday when testing again, noticed premiere getting error @ same point when loading preview files.  took snapshot here:

- files organized classes (we filmed writing class) , @ point, during class 9 problem occurred.

- trouble shoot, took class 9 offline, @ point premiere crashed @ class 10.

- noticed, @ point, must have told premiere “save cache files next originals” because in source media folders, every video/audio file, there preview file.

- last thing tried afternoon:

1. moved media cache files folder second drive more space.  cleared it.

2. opened project long enough go preferences/media , show premiere new media cache files location.

3. deleted preview files saved next originals.

- when tried open project file, said “media cache file folder not found or writeable” , asked me revert original file location, did.

- premiere asked me relink media (i’m guessing didn’t recognize source media folders w/o preview files in them).  now, @ point during relinking process, premiere either freezes , have force quit, or says “a serious error has occurred”

- now, after this, can’t existing project open @ all.

if has answers or follow-up questions, please reach out.  i'm desperate here.
