Thread: Deleting configs of all *ubuntus except one

hello!

it's enough read what's written in italics below. it's rest of information irrelevant.

hope i'll make no mistakes, post here first time. in case, apologize.

have started using ubuntu ubuntu 12.04, home partition separated. switched 12.10 (installed usb, didn't upgrade 12.04 12.10). while on 12.10, installed kde-desktop (using terminal), , logged in (once if remember right).
after that, still being @ ubuntu 12.10, installed xfce-desktop (using terminal).
installed xubuntu 12.10 (installed usb - normal, "correct" installation). installed xubuntu 12.04 (installed usb). again installed xubuntu 12.10.
have xubuntu 12.10 , want install xubuntu 12.04 (and stay it).

question following. during installations using same /home partiotion, saved there. when install xubuntu 12.04, will possible delete configuration files of ubuntu 12.04, ubuntu 12.10, kde-desktop (and, maybe xubuntu 12.10 configuration files, not needed xubuntu 12.04) /home partition?

in other words, can make /home partition never had besides xubuntu 12.04 installed? (and applications, of course. don't want touch apps' configs - must remain)

in advance!

welcome forums!

wouldn't worry (unless hard drive getting full few mb's make difference). risk of accidentally deleting need outweighs hypothetical benefits, in opinion.
