Is there a way to automatically check a file's dimensions, color mode, etc.?

hey everyone,

i work in tech field , part of daily workflow checking hundreds of images make sure they're "up spec" - need dimension (say, 500x800px), rgb8, , .jpeg files.

is there way automate "spec check" process, wherein images aren't spec might flagged in fashion? say, file comes in that's right dimensions , jpeg saved in cmyk space. maybe script give 1-star rating whereas others, spec, 5-star ratings?

if can give me jumping off point how i'd start automation, appreciated. thanks!

best,

buster

an old thread, of wish achieve possible bridge’s find command, setting multiple criteria. 1 can save search smart collection , apply multiple searches collection panel.

for further automation can command line tools such exiftool or imagemagick, or various “janitorware” programs can search various criteria in file , perform action.
