Image quality

hi

i new indesign , having quality issue when placing images. no matter end jaggy images.

as see on image below original image in photoshop looks supposed when placed in indesign looks terrible.

my display settings set "high" , view document @ 100%. have read in earlier posts cannot rely on quality of images in indesign , when printed allright. thats true in case. when exported pdf image has improved if close there seems line left , below circle.

my question doing wrong here? isn't possible create image (icon) in photoshop , place in indesign , have displayed in proper quality?

first, in id looking @ screen preview, not actual pixels, in cases there loss on screen, not affect output.

second, have choice quality of preview. default "typical display" low-res, fast drawing preview, meant large images or underpowered systems. newer systems can handle "high quality display" fine. can set view menu document, or in prefs default.
