Thread: Dual OS // Dual Disks


hi guys,

using asus zenbook, , have 2 disks in pc.

1 hdd (windows7 installed)
1 ssd (free)



trying install ubuntu on ssd alone. used "something else" option during install. maybe did wrong, , winbootloader did not show me ubuntu option, loaded win7 instantly.

asking can me installing ubuntu?
no idea of using "something else"

ps: going install ubuntu again...

even though different brand, seems 1 of these.

need remove raid settings interferes ubuntu install. livecd not work raid , raid cache windows , speed somehow. if full raid need alternative installer.

showing efi partition, system uefi. need install ubuntu 64 bit in uefi mode. when boot livecd or usb, should offer 2 choices, 1 efi , other legacy/ahci or whatevey uefi boot menu sees as.
