Thread: ubuntu 12.04: Dont'get Subtitle Editor working on importing video

dear forum users,

tried build various versions of subtitle-editor, in end since there seemed not of differece between versions,
since not working, stuck subtitleeditor0_0.39.0-2_amd64 repositories.
installed gstreamer 1.0 besides 0.10, tried downgrade 0.10, didn't , didn't know how link 1.0-version
subtitle editor if works anyhow?
spent whole day trying working,but got stuck getting following errors again , again while trying import avi, mkv or mp4 videos subtitle editor:

, give aegisub try,
installing source http://www.aegisub.org/downloads/#source
before need player work with, foundable in http://code.google.com/p/ffmpegsource/downloads/list
, take ffms-2.17-src.tar.bz2 ffmpegsource 2.17 source code
dependencies include libavformat-dev libswscale-dev
pulseaudio developement files libass-dev, various hunspell-files spelling correction

and! works!
