RoboHelp 10 stops working when a checked in topic is modified

robohelp 10 stops working every time when open checked in topic , make change forcing topic checked out automatically.  worked in previous versions of robohelp.  after restarting program, desired topic checked out. checking topics out manually before editing works without crash.

 

i have uninstalled source control , reinstalled no help.  did placing images stopped robohelp 10 working.  when placing image , click on browse folders worked ok.  when clicked on next folder resulted in lockup ... every time.  reinstalling source control fixed that.

 

automatic checkout of topics crashes every time.  have local copy of project , server accessed via vpn 3000 miles away.  have never had problem until robo10.  nothing has changed in our vpn or network since robo9 worked perfectly.  robohelp works fast @ first after few hours takes long time check out or check in topics.  faster close without checking in, reboot pc, , check in.  necessary couple times day. 

 

i running dell laptop i7, win 7-64, , roadrunner lightening connection (45mbps down/5.8mbps up).  nothing else running on network eat bandwidth.  cpu usage ~25%.  memory 3.5gb/8gb.  have installed 64bit patch source control after reinstall of source control.

update on problem, problem exists when internet , internal network slow.  think there timeout either in windows or robohelp throws stopped working error. 

 

when internet working fast , our office network not busy, in morning, can edit file , checkout, no problem.  once people wake , start using internet between fl , vancouver bc, start getting lockups.  when people office , start working, robo crashes every time.  forced check out topic , edit.

 

i going contact our dept see if there network setting increase timeout before win7 gives on source control.
