Can't get CS4 to work on new iMac with Mavericks

i have bought new imac running mavericks , used migration assistant migrate old imac. (i have done twice!!) since unable use cs4 on new imac. asks serial number type in keep getting big red x next :-(

 

i have deactivated cs4 old imac including deleting serial number.

i have downloaded , installed java osx

i have followed solutions 1 , 2 on http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/error-licensing-stopped-mac-os.html

solution 1 achieved nothing (there no flexnet folder in library or anywhere else on computer)

solution 2 suggested downloading adobe licensing repair tool licenserecovery111.dmg folder not recognised wouldn't open isn't helpful!

solution 3 suggests repairing disk permissions - brand new download of mavericks have not tried yet

solution 4 suggests resetting permissions on flexnet publisher licensing service folder (solution 1 suggested deleting library/preferences folder , yet apparently in library/application support folder!!)

solution 5 suggests resetting permissions on adobe pcd folder - there isn't 1 on either new or old imac!

solution 6 suggests deleting cache.db-journal in adobe pcd folder - see above

solution 7 suggests re-formatting drive file system isn't case sensitive!!!!! not inclined that

solution 8 - reinstall - new imac not have dvd drive how that? presumably won't solve issue in solution 7 anyway?

solution 9 - contact adobe support - did , spent time on chat them told didn't qualify , go forums

i have trawled through forums , tried various suggested fixes no luck.

 

please can before tear hair out

you need instal adobe applications original media. using migration assistant not transfer necessary hidden files registration procedure work.
