Help with Photomerge Panorama

hello,

i can't find i'm looking in discuission post here.

my problem want have image stitching software not expensive , easy use.

i try in photoshop elements 12 (pse12) trial software.

as can see, photomerge in pse12 tend find overlap between images...

unfortunately when can't, makes image overlap each other... makes more difficult arrange pictures.

i old style in photoshop cs2 can stitching manually , save tile position pmg (photomerge) file.

can pse12?

what mean is... can teach pse12 correct position of image stitching?

also can save photomerge project revisit in case there problem stitch results not noticed earlier?

by way, our images taken microscope fixed overlap (repeatable few microns of error).

i says there option of "interactive layout":

i think maybe need... not available in pse12, it?

another document might of this:

alternatively, why not start blank canvas , drag photos on , move them want them.

i find way easier do.
