Thread: Screwed up Software Center

with no luck in uninstalling oracle java laptop, used brute force , opened nautilus root , removed files "java" in name
... not best idea yea know, according "java -version" not on system anymore, thats good...


software center wont start, wrong files apparently got deleted in progress.
tried re-install u.s.c. using command

sudo apt-get --purge --reinstall install software-center

software center reinstalled correctly, still wont start

when running "software-center" in console:

is there way fix this? webkit libjava hooba hooba thingy?
still quite new linux, , i'm loving it. problems i’ve had far of own stupidity

i try reinstall software center , java synaptic. hope helps.
