Thread: I need a prepaid internet Dongle that WORKS


i bought asus k55a notebook computer, i5, 4gb ram, 500gb hard drive.

bought cricket zte ac3781 usb internet dongle, prepaid internet access.

works without problem win7 home premium, can't version of linux recognize connected computer.

built in wifi works fine, not near hotspot of time.

there update or work round work linux??

want pull win7 drive out, install ssd drive, put win7 & linux dual boot on ssd drive, , both work dongle.

have 2 notebooks want , both brand new, same brand, different model numbers.

also, 64gb ssd drive want??

model of asus k55a did purchase? rbr6 walmart? thinking of purchasing 1 find no other confirmation except post ubuntu wireless works adapter system.

version of ubuntu using? post output of:

if can confirm have wifi working same adapter, more interested in purchasing. thanks.

have used t-mobile wireless dongle in past 1.5 years ago. unfortunately no longer have access system can not tell how configured work. pretty sure version got t-moble wireless prepaid working ubuntu 11.04
