Thread: Having installed with Wubi

hi,
i've installed ubuntu on old pc replace xp on (at moment both on it).
and, so, used wubi installer.

seems ok, except os being rather slow react.
using ubuntu on imac (parallels desktop), know efficient , swift mountain lion, , (even if caused rather restraint ram of machine), investigated bit , appears (from ubuntu desktop) ubuntu 64 bits.

i'm rather surprised this, since thought machine 32 bits.
in hand, couldn't find indication of xp side, must admit not being such fan of windows, i'm not accointed meanders of guts, may have missed it.

also, possible wubi in downloading system have made mistake?

, also, possible ubuntu 64 bits work (even if bit slowly) being installed on 32 bits machine...
explain fact in doing updates yesterday, reported fault , lot of them (on total of 200mb) uncompleted.

in advance advice

if machine 64 bit capable yes, work though running 32 bit xp install.

wubi installs can bit slower running 2 file systems, 1 on top of other, wubi evaluation not long term use.

have checked proprietary drivers may response of os. or more likely, may better off lighter version. whcih version of ubuntu have installed ?
