Premiere Pro on a 27-inch iMac (SSD or Fusion drive)

i serious budding professional filmmaker , current budget considering 27-inch imac 3tb fusion drive , 32gb of ram.  friend tells me seperate 512bg ssd , 3tb normal hdd better deal, can't on imac.  have external 4 drive 16tb raid setup connected usb3.  work 512gb ssd in imac give me better performance getting imac 3tb fusion drive?

would there huge difference possible drive setups available going mac pro tower, budget possibly stretched it?  expensive...but if make things faster, consider it.

also, understand prempro multi-threading , can work 12 cores.  make huge difference on quad-core available in imac, or core system minor improvement?

lastly, imac's "nvidia geforce gtx 780m 4gb gddr5" graphics card enough?

thank help.  nathan ehrlich (on friend's computer)

definitely.

again, definitely, works @ least 96 cores (maybe more?), benefit dual 12 physical core xeons 48 logical cores.

lastly, imac's "nvidia geforce gtx 780m 4gb gddr5" graphics card enough?

usually, yes.
