Thread: Help installing wine


i'm brand new linux operating system , need bit of help. i'm running ubuntu 12.10 on laptop , want access files windows side. whenever try install error.
following packages have unmet dependencies:

wine1.4: predepends: dpkg (>= 1.15.7.2~) 1.16.7ubuntu6 installed
depends: libc6 (>= 2.14) 2.15-0ubuntu20 installed
depends: wine1.4-amd64 (= 1.4.1-0ubuntu1) 1.4.1-0ubuntu1 installed
depends: wine1.4-i386 (= 1.4.1-0ubuntu1) not going installed

please! in advance!

not sure you're asking ...

wine not let access ubuntu files windows side. windows can't read linux filesystems; wine has nothing whatsoever that.

however, if want access windows files ubuntu, once again, wine has nothing whatsoever that. click on home icon, select partition containing files, , open them nautilus file manager.
