edit: noticed after loses connectivity remote access samba shares on server don't work , network access (and internet access) server slow. restarting networking doesn't fix problem , have reboot things working again.

on how fix appreciated thanks.

although may not related, kind of virtual machine using? , make difference if disable virtual network test?

have tried -
code:
sudo ifconfig eth0 down sudo ifconfig eth0 up
or,
code:
sudo modprobe -rfv 3c59x sudo modprobe -v 3c59x
also, please clarify part of post -
also noticed after loses connectivity remote access samba shares on server don't work , network access (and internet access) server very slow.
seems confusing.. disconnected, or gets slow? think it'll better if give full setup , connection details pertaining server.
