Best Method to Create Bookmarks

i converting 70+ page contract template livecycle designer 9.0.0.2 , accomplish creating permanent bookmarks when users open form in adobe.  using info link, http://forums.adobe.com/message/4013698, i'm able set initial view open showing bookmarks panel.  right now, still finishing master form, when re-open in livecycle, setting goes away.  once finished form, re-set initial view.  same bookmarks. can create bookmark table of contents contract, if open in livecycle modify contents, have re-create extensive bookmarks list in adobe again.

 

is there efficient way bookmarks remain?  have been reading , downloaded examples of how create them using xml, not quite there in understanding how implement.

 

also, there way retain bookmarks if printed pdf?  in cases final version of document printed pdf can further use comment/mark-up functionality in adobe.  though i've enabled form reader extensions (we use professional version - reader remote users), not able use mark-up/commenting functionality in adobe or add/remove pages until it's been printed pdf , no longer livecycle form.  if there i'm missing on side, appreciate advice, printing pdf not best option gain functionality, loses other important features. 

 

the form being moved word livecycle because contains many sections re-started page numbers, etc.  using multiple master pages in livecycle handle this, , works well.  in word, easy accidentally remove section break , mess numbering, headers/footers, etc.  hoping overcome issues livecycle.  thank help.

the bookmarks xfa forms intoduced livecycle es3 (10.x) (also knows adep), , there seems no way create such bookmarks in previous version.

 

the bookmark macro in thread mentioned designed es3 or higher.

it can propably work in es2, not guaranteed because in es2 macro api unofficical, undocumented feature few limitations , less methods in in official version.

 

the macro add extras element each object want create bookmark for.

 

<extras name="bookmark">          <text name="name">my bookmark</text>          <text name="color">0,0,0</text>          <text name="style">normal</text>          <text name="action">setfocus</text>       </extras> 

 

this extras element reinterpreted bookmark pdf viewer, xfa forms made es2 doesn't work (no idea why).

 

so have use newer version of designer, use bookmark features.
