Thread: No Boot option in 'Side by Side' Install


hello guys,

windows 7 (64 bit) user , wanted try out ubuntu on laptop.

downloaded ubuntu desktop 12.04lts (64 bit) on usb , and followed http://www.ubuntu.com/download/help/...ick-on-windows create bootable usb stick. before starting install used windows 7 disk management shrink hard-disk(500gb) 400gb , left 100gb free.

after booting usb stick chose side side install , finished intalling ubuntu.

after restart unable see boot option on startup screen. tried pressing shift , esc windows 7 option shows up. tried running 'run ubuntu usb' , launched 'install ubuntu' option again gave me same results.

guys me above problem?

did try boot usb stick connected?

when usb install bootloader ends usb mistake.
