hi epikvision

in regards making wireless connection wireless access point (router) ubuntu has not changed. same 11.10, 12.04, 12.10 , 13.04. in fact 13.04 still based upon 12.10. have follow same diagnostic paths version of ubuntu.

have done identify problem? tell you?

all other wireless networks recognized
that tells me ubuntu has recognised wireless card/adapter , has installed module/driver it. in fact proof:

connected home network right off box
what tell you?

just today, doesn't recognize home network anymore
what changed?

since 12.04 can go system settings , open network utility , move slider switch off wireless networking. can switch on , off airplane mode. not know because have never moved switch on.

these simple things can check. way of getting information can fix wrong.

using development version of ubuntu , having problem guide you.
