Thread: updating google-chrome causes failure

i using 11.10 64 bit
, each time reboot machine see unusual pop says "an upgrade 12.04 available" lists of packages installed on system , asks if want upgrade rid of annoying message click on upgrade , after showing me "seemingly" starts downloading thing , @ arbit point says update failed , asks me check internet connection.
