Thread: Poor connection with AtherosAR9287 running Ubuntu 12.04

hello all,

wireless connection in ubuntu slow, while connection perfect in windows 7. seems switch between , poor signal, browser loads sites instantly , takes ages. i'm trying install java via terminal , it's taking forever, download speeds varying 1b/s 200kb/s. again: don't have of these problems on windows. i'm new ubuntu i've tried gather information might helpful.
