hi,   hoping can help. i'm using audition cs6 , having problem recording. when arm track , press record song have recorded play, record button highlights red, however, no waveform bar appears on selected track , such no audio gets recorded.   to give background information - haven't come across problem before. have driver booster software upgrades drivers when new versions available. when built-in mic (using laptop) driver updated noticed sound recording terrible. i'm unable perform system restore due disk error can't fix went old version of driver. couldnt record - giving me sample rates dont match error managed change sample rate of speakers , input 48000hz match sample rate of session. thing adjusted input selected none.   this hasn't helped, unfortunately. if create new session able record no problem have sessions i'm still working on won't let me record audio to.   sorry long winded story appreciated , if require further info let me know. go easy on me ...

i have specifications outlining final video should avi file 8 bit audio. i'm on mac i'm rendering .mov animation codec , using mpeg streamclip export uncompressed avi.   when choose 8 bit sound render though, resulting video after effects (and consequently avi of course) has lot of static noise /fuzz in background of sound track.   i can't seem find others same problem , after testing exporting different video sound 8 bit, got same issue.        any , help/suggestions/insight welcome, in advance!   running mac osx lion, ae cs6 try rendering .mov file in first case sorenson video 3. maybe helps. i using gateway e-475m g. yesterday did clean install of ubuntu 12.10. installed using wired connection increase speed. today, after disconnecting wired connection, found wireless connectivity unavailable. figuring driver issue, went reconnect cat 5 , found couldn't wired connection, either. long story short: determined wired connection works when on ac power. weird. i'm looking these connectivity issues, new ubuntu. if need command outputs, ask! in advance. when have wired connection try enabling wifi card. on machines press combination of keys fn+f2 or flip physical switch. search in dashboard "additional drivers" , see finds. randomly, kde started refusing open programs through normal menu, giving error saying "kdeinit not launch /usr/bin/application" (something that). thought nothing of because every once in while happen , logging out or rebooting fixed it. hours later, dolphin stopped working (saying "invalid protocol" in every directory). after that, decided log out , in, f*cked up! pressing "alt+f1" me console worked, , working fine there, kde broken. i'm on laptop i'm using intel's integrated graphics btw. here's screenshot of desktop. unusable! help?? login manager works fine though, after splash screen this. hi all, after running ubuntu exclusively month or remembered update bios need windows. made 50gb ntfs partition , installed windows onto it, system boots windows. tried booting live cd , running boot-repair @ end said make sure bios set boot /dev/sdb (the ssd, attached hard drive, on ubuntu installed). however, because ssd integrated hard drive (i have samsung series 7) can boot terabyte hard disk , not ssd bios. interesting noticed on running gparted live cd /boot partition (at beginning of hard disk, had before windows install) still seems have linux-y things in (init.d, memtest) , gparted detects windows file system still thinks previous partition old size, not 50gb smaller should be. insight or possible fixes appreciated! try these steps: - insert live cd of ubuntu version installed on computer. - select 'try ubuntu' not 'install ubuntu' - open terminal , type these commands: co...
