Cannot install CS5.5 (upgrade from CS3) on my new laptop

i need install cs5.5 on new laptop. downloaded installation files, cannot install.

my cs5.5 design standard update cs3 desing premium purchased years ago.

 

i have serial of old cs3, unfortunaltely lost installation dvd

 

do first need install cs3? or can put serial somewhere?

first question: cs5.5 windows or mac? new laptop windows or mac? cannot use windows serial number license cs5.5 on mac , vice versa.

 

assuming you're installing on same platform, there's no need re-install cs3 first.

 

all need install cs5.5 (the code upgrade version same full version), enter cs5.5 upgrade serial number enter cs3 serial number when prompted.

After Effects error:creating resource file on Windows

hi   i have problem set of plugins developing. have 20 different plugins. after apply 10th plugin, gives following error on windows (cs6):   after effects error:creating resource file "....aex" ( 3 :: 0 )   i can have many instances of same plugin once have total of 10 different error comes up   one thing being enabled in plugin flag: pf_outflag_keep_resource_open   is culprit?   thanks in advance donj More discussions in After Effects SDK adobe
