TextFrame.extractLabel() cannot work with instances of this class

i have 2 functions, each of passed text frame , read labels of frame.

the first uses textframe.contents = "" erase text (which replaced).

 

they work fine if call 1 -- either 1 -- if call second after calling first above error message.

 

any ideas cause that/how fix it?

 

i'm getting frame looping through pageitems.

you pass paramete in "textframe.extractlabel()"

 

eg textframe.extractlabel("label name")
