Thread: Starting Shell on Ubuntu 12.04


hello!

i'm brand new ubuntu, , first post.

i'm trying figure out how start shell can learn commands provides. book (ubuntu linux toolbox) tells me start shell, should go applications>accessories>terminal -- haven't been able find anywhere on gui. can tell me step-by-step need look? i'm using ubuntu 12.04.

appreciated. know pretty basic question -- that's on learning curve.

you should able tap windows sign on keyboard display dash home can type in terminal.

use 12.04 , hold down
ctrl+alt+t
automatically call terminal.

suggest link here information ubuntu forums have on terminal.
