Thread: Can't see any partition on installation


hello everyone,
trying install ubuntu 12.04 (x86_64) on new dell inspiron 15r special edition (inspiron 7520).

can boot live cd, , pass first steps. problem is, when have choose partition on want install ubuntu, can't see partition.
if decide try ubuntu instead of installing it, can see other partitions using gparted, or fdisk -l.

appreciated.

usually means using gpt partition table, or there partition table. it's can told output of parted, paste result of following command

sudo parted /dev/sda print
