I can't write anything when I select the text command.

when hit (t), click anywhere , start type nothing shows up. blinking dot.

even if make text box, nothing show not blinking cursor.

reset text/ charactrer palettes, choose different font , make sure not using appearance transparency or blending option may make text invisible. check system "bad" fonts may prevent ai rendering text.

How to Grab email address from webform and insert into form action
