Thread: Blacklist or don't update kernel only?

my laptop won't install ubuntu 12.10 because of pae extension not present , kernel 12.10 requiring it.

there way can take 12.04 (non-pae kernel) installation , tell upgrade except kernel?

i'm wondering if way around issue. alternate.iso (tried it) , supposedly ubuntu alternatives (xubuntu , lubuntu) likewise moving pae kernel.

How to Grab email address from webform and insert into form action

Thread: "Broken" background image with Super Key
