issue with file.execute()

hi, started learning photoshop scripts, have .bat file needs run @ end of java script, while looking online, hel

var bat = new file("path\filename.bat");

bat.execute();

 

but nothing happens when run script, or if try wtire .bat file, nothing happens, looks like, file operations not working , might missing something. can 1 please me solve issue?

 

im using photoshop cs6, windows7 , working on java script.

How to Grab email address from webform and insert into form action
