Using Gradients on 3D revolve shapes

i new illustrator , trying create 3d dish looks silver on 1 side , gold on other. there way can this? if want add further shapes top of dish better add these before applying 3d effect? if possible apply gradients part of shape?

 

alternatively possible use gradient mesh in concave shape. default mesh convex. there easy way change concave?
