Thread: Wifi problem - ubuntu 12.10 - hp mini notebook

hello,

running ubuntu 12.10 on hp mini notebook intel atom cpu. have problem connecting wifi.

tried these codes , still no success.

[code]sudo sudo rfkill unblock wifi

sudo rfkill unblock all

, when check command, sudo rfkill list all

0: hci0: bluetooth           soft blocked: no           hard blocked: no 1: hp_wifi: wireless lan           soft blocked: no           hard blocked: no 2: hp-bluetooth: bluetooth           soft blocked: no           hard blocked: no

i managed fix same problem on dell vostro 1520 laptop using below commands following rfkill commands:

lsmode | grep dell  sudo rmmod -f dell_laptop

i don't know on hp mini notebook.
can me please!!

have tried installing drivers on system?
may don't have proper wifi drivers on system.
