Thread: Korean Input - Lubuntu 12.04

i have installed lubuntu 12.04 on old machine. machine in public area in backpackers/hikers hostel in korea. such need korean input. have followed previous advice on forums, can't find applies lubuntu, , have tried hasn't worked. when click on input method switcher under preferences, nothing happens. in scim, under front end>global setup>keyboard layout, korean isn't listed.

don't mind changing distro if needed. machine quite old, 384mb ram , 2ghz p4 cpu, upgrading ubuntu or more powerful isn't option. i'm new linux, , software centre in unbuntu , how easy makes things, i'd prefer prefer stick similar setup.

thank in advance offered!
