Working with Character Styles in Photoshop CC

hi,

 

i upgraded photoshop cc , quite excited character styles panel. now, i'm puzzled.

it looks adobe didn't finish feature before shipping 14.1.2

 

1. can't reorder character list? why use different list implementation "layer comps?"

2. want copy , paste character style 1 selection (basically workflow apple keynote). should possible character styles, didn't work:

  - select formatted text section

   - press "new character style icon"

   - double-click new style -> font-size in style differs font-size of orginal selection?!

   - i'm pretty sure has style of original text not being directly overwritten "none", there no feature "bake" style-formatting either.

 

3. can't remove , restyle character-style "none". when accidently assign "none", defined 12px arial black . default-style has style definition , should therefore editable other character styles.

 

i'm blow away how non-intuitive whole process is. never had problems understand character styles in indesign, pages, word , illustrator. in photoshop either broken or non-intuitive.

 

just 2 cents.

this seems buggy or has critical ux issues @ minimum.

Error 400 - Photoshop services are not available

After Effects error:creating resource file on Windows

hi   i have problem set of plugins developing. have 20 different plugins. after apply 10th plugin, gives following error on windows (cs6):   after effects error:creating resource file "....aex" ( 3 :: 0 )   i can have many instances of same plugin once have total of 10 different error comes up   one thing being enabled in plugin flag: pf_outflag_keep_resource_open   is culprit?   thanks in advance donj More discussions in After Effects SDK adobe
