hello all. have ubuntu 12.04 installed on dell d610 laptop , works better new. purchased hp compaq nc6000 local pawn shop. has windows xp on it. when tried install ubuntu 12.04.1, following screen......

kernel requires following features not present on cpu

pae

unable boot - please use kernel appropriate cpu



do now? 12.04 not work on model? 2004 model pentium m processer, 1 gb ram, 80 gb hard drive, , dvd rom. totally frustrated. im not real savvy linux @ all. dell works. need here in worst way! thank in adavance.

official ubuntu 12.04 unfortunately requires pae-capable cpus. easiest, least "official," option may involve fact @ canonical has made unofficial version of 12.04 doesn't have requirement, available here: http://people.canonical.com/~diwic/12.04-nonpae/. check out other options, though.

Error 400 - Photoshop services are not available
