ColdFusion applets on Java 7.51 clients

our application contains legacy code still relies on cfgrid. we’re finding our end users can no longer use these pages once have upgraded java. when try use these pages java 7.51, users receive following general exception:

“name: coldfusion.applets.cfgridapplet

securityexception: missing required permissions manifest attribute in main jar: http://[host]/cfide/classes/cfapplets.jar”.

has there been new cfapplets.jar released updated manifest new java security?  if there hasn’t been one, best place check updates of nature?

i’m aware of ability add our sites exception site list in java outlined here: http://www.java.com/en/download/help/java_blocked.xml

having user down grade work temporary solution well.
