CS6 Bridge & .DNG questions

trying out cs6, bridge doesn't open:

 

file > browse bridge = cursor changes hourglass bridge never opens;

file > browse in mini bridge = " waiting cs6 bridge..." message indefinitely;

 

am missing step?  acr8.3 & tif process work afaict...

i've read cs2-cs6 conflict, latest on how overcome?

 

 

i shoot rx10 raws, sony .arw doesn't offer text fields.

.dng offers several, including description field -- want raws captioned.

(& assuming .dng field transfer tif description field upon conversion)

 

but what, if anything, lose converting .arw .dng & keeping .dng...?

(use of rather lousy sony converter, assume; else?)

How to Grab email address from webform and insert into form action

Thread: "Broken" background image with Super Key
