Why is the badge number removed?

i have notifications enabled in mobile flex application , notifications working fine, but, air sdk seems remove "badge" number automatically before invoke (and activate) events fired.  it's noted standard behavior here: http://blogs.adobe.com/airodynamics/2012/05/29/push-notifications-support-in-ios/

not sure how determined logic appropriate, business logic , not normal behavior, but, don't see workaround override.

i want manage badge numbers in app, not have flex sdk decide when remove badge.  if @ application uses badge intelligently, you'll see isn't removed when app fired up.

i'm looking workaround set badge it's original state, however, don't think it's possible, since looks cleared before invoke/activate events.

anyone know how can "fixed"?  don't see way using anes (which i'm using get/set badge).

got response in air forum here, http://forums.adobe.com/message/6000836#6000836, looks "design" issue.  manage using ane calls reset back, ugh.
